Lady Byron Composed by Kim Sherman A workshop presentation of a new opera focusing on Ada Byron, daughter of the famous poet and inventor of the world's first computer. The piece follows the tempestuous path of Ada Byron, the daughter of the poet Lord Byron and the inventor of the first computer. Ada tries to reconcile the practicality and formality of science with the more intuitive, hedonistic poetry that is her birthright.
