The cemetery is buddhist, I think, and had these guys in their little hats and bibs standing guard in front. I do wish I could read the signs so I could tell what it's all about!
Every grave had a place to hold flowers (much like we're used to seeing) as well as a place to burn incense. You can also see incense buring boxes in this picture, just above the street level.
