Nagoya Castle was lots of fun. We paid $10 to get in. It turned out to be a bit of an amusement park atmosphere, with the central feature being the castle, which is under restoration.

This a dry moat around the castle (there's a wet moat around this one) and there are actually deer grazing in it! See the deer stable at bottom right.
