See the dolphin-thingys on top of the peaks of the roof? They were once in gold. Today the gold ones are in a dome elsewhere on the Castle campus, where you can stand in line to touch them. I did, though I don't know why. Anyway, this particular dolphin is a symbol of Nagoya and pops up everywhere on logos, etc.
